Ultrasound Probe Covers
Krystal ultrasound probe covers are designed as a physical barrier between the patient and the transducer to limit cross-contamination. Available in latex-free material (polyurethane, polyethylene) or latex (for endocavity probes), Krystal covers are FDA and CE-approved.
Krystal covers protect the transducer from physical contaminants and facilitates the equipment cleaning and disinfection.
Krystal probe covers are made according the EDM’s quality standards. They have been used approved by healthcare professionals in the USA, in Europe and beyond for 30 years. The wide selection of Krystal covers can accommodate a variety of procedures including in radiology, anesthesiology, and vascular access. In addition to the choice of materials, Krystal covers are available in sterile or non-sterile versions. Sterilization is made with ethylene oxide. Finally, procedures kits are available for the operating room.

Features
Polyurethane general purpose sheathes are soft yet stretchable and tear-resistant. They are Krystal’s high-end covers, comfortable and safe for the patient and medical staff. Due to the telescopic configuration, Krystal covers are quick and easy to install, even with a single-person technique. The 3D end guarantees an examination free from bubbles or artifacts. The sterile kits are recommended in the OR, for radiology or anesthesiology (nerve blocks, regional anesthesia).
